IT’S AN EXPERIENCE
For the past decade, Crop has brought creative people together through unforgettable talks, workshops, late-night hangs, and the kind of inspiration that sticks with you long after the weekend ends. Field Trip isn’t replacing any of that. It’s expanding on it.
Just 50 attendees. Two packed days in Cleveland experiencing creativity together through design, murals, music, baseball, food & drinks, and the people and places that bring it all to life.
This time, the city is the venue. The experiences are the lineup.
CLEVELAND GUARDIANS
STADIUM TOUR
This isn’t your standard stadium tour.
We’ll be joining the Cleveland Guardians’ creative team for a behind-the-scenes look at how design comes to life inside one of Major League Baseball’s most iconic environments.
From marketing campaigns and environmental graphics to scoreboard content, game-day experiences, and artist collaborations, we’ll explore the creative work that transforms a ballpark into something much bigger than baseball.
It’s design at a scale that’s tought to comprehend until you’re actually standing right in the middle of it.
ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME TOUR
Turns out some of the most influential design work of the last 75 years wasn’t hanging in galleries. It was wrapped around records, plastered on telephone poles, printed on concert posters, and worn on t-shirts.
We’ll be taking over the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to explore the album art, posters, merchandise, photography, packaging, and visual storytelling that helped shape music culture for generations.
Part museum. Part inspiration overload.
Bring comfy shoes. You’re going to be doing a lot of pointing at things and saying, “I can’t believe I’m seeing this in person.”
HINGETOWN ART HUNT
Join Crop alum and muralist Lisa Quine as we explore one of Cleveland’s most visually inspiring neighborhoods where public art, independent businesses, and creative culture are woven into everyday life.
Hear stories from Lisa’s experience creating large-scale murals and see firsthand how creativity can leave a lasting mark on a community.
Come curious. Leave inspired. Take too many photos.
Pull up a chair and join the conversation.
These casual roundtable sessions are a chance to talk shop, share ideas, ask questions, work through challenges, and connect with fellow creatives throughout the weekend.
No stage. No slides. No pressure.
Just good people and the kinds of conversations that remind you why being part of a creative community matters.
DESIGNER ROUNDTABLES
GOOD TIMES INCLUDED
Come on. You know Crop by now. We’ve built time into the weekend for good food, good drinks, and good company. We’ll cover dinner at the parties and your first few rounds so you can focus on making new friends, catching up with old ones, and enjoying the ride.
EASY OUT
KICK OFF PARTY
After a day spent exploring Progressive Field and getting a behind-the-scenes look at creativity inside Major League Baseball, we’ll head to Easy Out to officially kick off the weekend.
Expect good food, cold drinks, and plenty of opportunities to meet your fellow Field Trippers, swap stories, and start making a few new friends.
OLD 86
AFTER PARTY
After two packed days of murals, music, baseball, design, and good company, we’ll gather at Old 86, the beloved spot co-owned by longtime Crop family member OK Pants, for one final night together.
Expect good food, cold drinks, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate an unforgettable weekend before heading home.
WHY A FIELD TRIP?
Because some experiences are better shared.
Over the years, Crop has become more than a conference. It’s become a community. Field Trip is an opportunity to experience that community in a completely new way. Together, we’ll explore one of America’s most creative cities, go behind the scenes with the people making incredible work, share meals, swap stories, make new friends, and experience creativity alongside people who love it as much as you do.
With only 50 spots available, Field Trip is intentionally small, making it one of the most personal and immersive experiences we’ve ever produced. We’d love for you to come along.
WHERE TO STAY
We’ll be spending a good chunk of our time in and around Downtown Cleveland, so we recommend staying near Progressive Field whenever possible. It’ll put you within walking distance of several Field Trip activities, great restaurants, bars, and plenty of places to explore on your own.
Traveling with a friend? Grab your favorite Crop buddy, split a room, and turn the weekend into a proper adventure.
A few hotels we’d recommend:
• Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade
• Hilton Cleveland Downtown
• Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown
• Drury Plaza Hotel Cleveland Downtown
Of course, there are plenty of other great hotel and Airbnb options nearby. The closer you are to Progressive Field, the easier your weekend will be.
